Originating in 1994 as a specialty boutique and spa, the company met quick success in promoting aromatherapy in its highest forms. Our pure ingredients and fine packaging appeal to the luxury consumer. Dorothy Prentice Aromatherapy signature fragrances have been used by fine hotels and resorts worldwide in amenity and spa products.

Dorothy Prentice, MBA, M.Sc. is a native of Scotland and founder of DPA. As a certified aromatherapist, her cornerstones are promoting healthful skin care techniques and breaking ground in the advancement of environmental fragrances. Her areas of expertise – both academic and experiential – make her an ideal leader for this growing, successful, and responsive business. Her solid knowledge of markets, physiology, and the crafting of fine fragrances is the strong base upon which the company stands. Having studied extensively in Europe, Dorothy has received diplomas in aromatherapy, skin physiology, and cosmetic chemistry. Her studies have also taken her to Purdue University where she completed advanced botanical studies on pure essential oils
